Festivals, music and sport all year round
From the Advent market to Snowbombing and the Blechlawine brass festival, from the street festival to the cattle drives: there is something going on in Mayrhofen all year. Here you will find the most important dates for 2027 – with the distance from Landhotel Denggerhof and links to the organisers. And here at the hotel, live music returns in summer at our Dämmerschoppen evenings.
At Denggerhof: Dämmerschoppen & Autumn Festival
In summer we invite you to atmospheric Dämmerschoppen evenings: live music, Tyrolean hospitality and relaxed get-togethers on our terrace and in the parlour, usually from 7 to 10 pm. In 2026, Kasermandl Duo, Susal and Fesch’n Rock played from July to August. To round off the season we celebrate our autumn festival for the Almabtrieb (cattle drive) in the afternoon (2026: Saturday, 26.09.).
We will publish the programme for summer 2027 in spring.

When the cattle come down from the alpine pastures depends on the weather and is decided at short notice. Around the cattle drives, the ErlebnisSennerei Zillertal celebrates its Hooo-Ruck festival (2026: 02.–04.10.) – only about 400 m from the hotel, easy to reach on foot. During Snowbombing, Full Metal Mayrhofen, the Blechlawine and the Gauder Fest, Mayrhofen and the Zillertal are very busy. Please enquire early if you would like to come for one of these dates.

On Friday, 30.07.2027, from 6 pm to 1 am on the main street. Admission is free.
When is Snowbombing 2027?
From Monday, 05.04., to Saturday, 10.04.2027.
When is the Blechlawine 2027?
From Thursday, 27.05., to Sunday, 30.05.2027 at the Waldfestplatz in Mayrhofen.
When are the cattle drives in Mayrhofen?
Usually from the end of September to early October. The exact day depends on the weather and is decided at short notice.
Are there events at Landhotel Denggerhof?
Yes. In summer there are Dämmerschoppen evenings with live music, and in autumn an autumn festival for the cattle drive. The 2027 programme will be published in spring.
How do I get from the hotel to the events?
The village centre, the Europahaus and the railway station are a 10 to 15 minute walk. In winter the ski bus stops right at the hotel.
